Kimberly Asuming-Tawiah BSc, RMT

Founder

Kimberly is a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) in Vancouver, committed to providing patient-centered, evidence-informed care. She completed her massage therapy training at the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy, where she gained over 3000 hours of hands-on clinical experience. Her academic background also includes a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo, which informs her holistic and health-focused approach to care.

Kimberly specializes in therapeutic massage that is tailored to each individual. She focuses on creating a warm, inclusive environment where patients feel respected and understood. Rather than defining clients by their condition, she sees each person as a whole and adapts her treatments to their unique goals and needs.

She incorporates a wide range of massage therapy techniques, including:

  • Traditional Swedish Massage

  • Myofascial Release

  • Neuromuscular Therapy

  • Joint Mobilization

  • Osseous Bone Loading

  • Visceral Manipulation (limited to Female Reproductive Organs)

Her treatments are designed to be both relaxing and orthopedically effective, helping clients manage pain, recover from injury, and feel more connected to their bodies. When a client’s needs fall outside her scope, Kimberly works closely with a trusted network of other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Kimberly’s clinical focus includes:

  • Women’s Health Massage (Prenatal & Postnatal care, support for Female Reproductive Conditions)

  • TMJ Dysfunction

  • Chronic Pain Management

  • Stress and Anxiety Relief

  • Weekend Warriors and Athletic Recovery

  • Postural Tension in Desk Workers

  • Repetitive Strain Injuries (RSIs)

She is passionate about supporting women through all stages of life and is especially attuned to the emotional and physical complexities of chronic stress and reproductive health.

When she’s not in the treatment room, Kimberly enjoys fitness, live theatre, and discovering new restaurants in Vancouver. At home, she loves to sing, read, and experiment with new recipes in the kitchen.
